While I do not identify myself as either Democrat or Republican (both parties have major problems IMHO), one thing that has always bothered me about the Republican stance is their constant stress on "Small Government." While that is all fine and dandy, do not go on and on about limited government intervention while you are passing laws to prevent gay marriage, to force young girls to get Gardasil shots, or to force a woman who wants an abortion to view the ultrasound of the fetus she wants to abort.
