More Palin Blah

Being interviewed by Charles Gibson.

Did you watch part one of Charlie Gibson's interview on ABC with Sarah Palin on Thursday night????

If you missed it, click here to see video excerpts or click here for the transcript.

We felt like we were watching a lady version of George W. Bush, only she's more eloquent and fuckable.

Like many politicians, instead of giving straight answers at times, Sexy Sarah would just jibber jabber.

In fact, at one point during the interview, Charlie Gibson said to the GOP VP pick, "I got lost in a blizzard of words there. Is that a yes?"

If the GOP somehow manages to snag the presidency, let's hope that John McCain stays well.

With Sarah in power, looks like there's a chance that 'God' could will us to go to war with Russia, Iran and Pakistani terrorists all at the same time.

  1. what's terrifying is that all the reader comments below the article say things like "how dare you ask her hardball questions" and "you liberals just don't get it, Sarah is AMERICA."--she's supposed to be running for VICE PRESIDENT, not First Lady. I think it is perfectly appropriate--nay, essential, to figure out what she thinks about foreign policy issues--of course, what we found out is that she has no idea the rest of the world even exists. This interview read less like a platform discussion than a Seventeen Magazine interview with Courtney Love. Completely incomprehensible.

I'd say the republican party was willingly sabotaging their candidacy with this one but there are actually americans out there who want this. WTF?

Not to mention, Ms. Palin has no business getting into national politics now, what with her daughter about to have her first unwanted grandchild and her own mentally handicapped infant demanding constant care--she would Dare demand women tolerate the destruction of their lives by unwanted children while Blatantly Neglecting her own offspring in light of the opportunity to be important? Her daughter, and therefore her grandchild, are going to be humiliated for decades for this! She is willingly allowing her family to be raked through the mud by the tabloids and jerks such as me alike when she should be affording her daughter privacy and, if not Options, maternal support. BE A MOTHER, Sarah Palin, not a bimbo. I hope her kids have a good relationship with their nanny.

  2. Thanks for all the election coverage, Kim!

I personally can't support anyone who opposes abortion even in the case of rape. I think that's pure insanity. People who feel that way better have adopted half their children and be working to reform the broken foster care system.

I do think it's unfair for critics to say she should be home with the kids though. Isn't that what Mr. Mom is for? If women can watch the kids while their husbands campaign for presidency, why can't it work the other way around in our supposedly egalitarian society?

    Palin. Ugh.

  3. I agree that it's a bit hypocritical to criticize her because she's a mother running for office, since they don't criticize men for being fathers running for office. HOWEVER, she does have a 5-month old disabled child, as well as her new grandchild, not to mention her other children -- it's a lot to take care of, even with both parents being involved. This just doesn't seem like the right time in their life as a family to be doing this.

Then again, they'll have access to some pretty fantastic babysitters/nannys...not to mention bodyguards.

  4. I'm so much less concerned about her not having time to commit to the office than what will happen if she actually does have time. Her being too busy would be a blessing!

My hope is that the media "grows a pair" (thanks Amy Poehler), stops letting Republican pundits call it sexist to question her readiness, and continues to ask her about foreign policy until that ticket sinks itself. I hope.
