Season Finale Season...Already?

Last night, The Boy and I watched the season finale episodes of The Office and 30 Rock. We totally called the ending of The Office before it happened, but overall, I was pleased with the episode (particularly Pam's little personal volleyball history). I really thought it had jumped the shark when Michael quit, but last night gave me a bit of hope. As for 30 Rock, it didn't fail me. It never does. I want to be Tina Fey. Can anyone make that happen? Thanks. Oh, and Sara made a little guest appearance, which I may never forgive her for. Kidding. But hey Sara? I'm jealous.

On an unrelated (sort-of) note, I was listening to Amy Poehler on Fresh Air the other day, and I am convinced that we should all just be friends. Or at least have a slumber party. Seriously folks, and I'm just going out an a totally crazy and pseudo-psycho limb here, but I totally want to have a slumber party with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. And the other guests would be Jessie Gaskell and Jackie Honikman, because I think the 5 of us would laugh a lot, and maybe come up with some ridiculous ideas. And eat "night cheese."

Ok, I've just crazystalkerscared myself. But seriously, if we're all talking in hypotheticals here, HYPOTHETICALLY, wouldn't that be a hilarious night?

It would. You know it would.

  1. speaking of cheese, guess who made her own mozzarella today? you guessed it. it was me. you're such a good guesser.

you should meet my mom's neighbor Cathy. and Tommy. Tommy and Cathy are kind of the awesomest thing since sliced bread. (what the hell did they do with bread before that? i mean seriously. "oh, look, i've made this odd lump of yeast and wheat. what the hell am i going to do with it now? i suppose i'll tear it into chunks and dunk it in this hot cheese and invent fondue. and while i'm at it, i'll soak it in butter and stuff it with potatoes and invent the dumpling. c'mon, what else would you do with it but slice it?)

I actually got to stretch it and knot it and braid it and all that fun. it was hot but fun and taaaaaaaas-teeee. mm-mm, we had pizza with homemade crust, home-grown rosemary, homemade mozzarella, and locally-grown everything else tonight and it was A-Maze-Zing. ZING.

i've had a few too many gin-tonics. sorry.

  2. may i pretty pretty PLEASE be invited to your crazystalker slumber party? Tina Fey is my hero.

  3. Kristen, I love when you post comments after too many drinks. Hilarious.

And I'm totally jealous of your homemade mozzarella!

  4. Did you read my post on Liz Lemon? I love this! See? We really were meant to be blog-friends! I'm crashing the slumber party. You have been warned.

  5. We were meant to be, it's true. I haven't read your Liz Lemon post, but you better believe I'm on my way there. I almost went as her for Halloween (when the wig for my *real* costume didn't show up), but I went as my boyfriend instead, because it looked like more of a costume.
